I shot these before the cold set in and iced the lake. One eagle was on the perch when I arrived. The other flew in, they stayed a while, then one by one they left to do some fishing.

Gene, you are certainly correct. I did miss the rest of the photos and they are awesome. Your photo number nine is a photo I love of eagles...with their wings all the way down and all of their head showing. To me that shows the birds great strength. You must of been delighted when you got home and saw all these beautiful photos on your computer.

:D I had hoped you got the post to go back and look. You would've missed those that do really show an eagle's strength. I usually look at what I got before going home but its always a pleasure to see the larger version on the computer screen. Glad you like these and thanks for looking.
