Your camera can't get sharp focus on all points of a flower or other object at the same time, so I took 6 pictures of the flower with different focus on each without moving my camera. I then put those 6 photos into the program Helicon Focus and it blended them into one. It's not for everyone but I enjoy it.
Is Helicon Focus a stand-alone app or can it be a Photoshop plug-in? Mac platform?
