We have a good amount of Northern Cardinals that come and go in the park and woodlot across from the house all year 'round. These were shot in winter. Enjoy these. Comments welcome.

:D Thank you. The background is a result of using the Poster Edges Artistic Filter in PsE-8 on the original photo. Go here to see what the backgrounds look like before applying the filter.

Thanks for looking.

Do you mind if I ask what program you use. I'm hoping it's Elements since I asked Santa for that!!

Hey Gene great technique. Reminds me of the old chromagraphs of birds and plants.

:D Thank you, Angela. Glad you like 'em. I'm using Elements 8. Haven't had time to load in 12 yet. The latest is 13. All those after mine have more features. I hope Santa is good to you. Thanks for looking.

I'm sure you'll like it. Too bad you have to wait 20+ days to try it. :-) But, in the mean time, go to this link, sign up for the free newsletter, and browse the various instructions for using Elements. He uses almost all the versions in the tutorials. And they're easy to understand. Have fun.
