Magnificent detail, best viewed in the downloaded format - well taken and processed. Thinking of getting Topaz myself, how do you rate it?

Thank you for your positive comments Leicaflex.
I have the Topaz Suite. I recently saw it at $249.

I mainly use Detai which I find excellent for adding sharpness and also recovering images that might otherwise be throw aways... not all but some. Detail was used on the first 3 photos above.

I've used Simplify to some extent but still learning. It's my go to program for creative effect. I find it excellent so far. I've used it on some of my recent posts.

Remask for removing backgrounds is excellent and efficient.
It does a great job on hair and edges.

Each one of the programs has a wide range of effect presets and additional tweeking Tools.

Unfortunately, I really can't give you an overall evaluation as I have not yet use all the programs.
I would say though that if you are planning to buy 2 or three programs, you should consider buying the whole suite.

George.

So sharp and such detail. Must have been practically no haze at all. Really nice.

Thanks for your nice comment Erich, I appreciate it.
The distance to the subject was not too far away and I shot it at 34mm (35mm equiv) on the Lumix FZ200. There was however some haze in the background and I was able to reduce it with the Unsharp Mask in PSE 11. The rest of the clarity was helped along by Topaz Detail.

Great photographs.

The only thing that would tend to bother me if they were mine - the un-level horizon. However, some photographers do that on purpose to create a sense of unease in viewers.

I think Topaz Labs have done a remarkable thing with all their plug-ins and stand alone editing programs.
