I need some help.

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place. While I do want a critique of the image I have found that I have a major problem with my monitor. In the image the limbs in the foreground are dark but some greyish color does show. I now have an Ultra HD tv and I know that using it as a monitor isn't the best. I did find that the colors on the tv are more accurate than on my monitor but the image on the tv shows the limbs in the foreground as completely black. I use a lap top (that's all I have) and the monitor on it does not show the color red correctly. I did a quick test with PS to confirm that the color is more accurate on the tv. Can someone check this for me and let me know what you see as far as darkness and saturation.

IMHO color and saturation are good, bird is out of focus, chromatic aberration presents.

Excellent and thank you. I have new, or at least new to me equipment and learning the new zoom lens. I have a Canon 5D MKII and using Sigma 70-300 lens. So the focus problem I understand. Is there some greyish coloration in the foreground limbs or are they just black?

I think you see chromatic aberration which is blue not grey. To avoid focusing problem in situation like this I would use the manual focus.
