Has anybody had a bad experience with buying on line ?
I recently made a purchase with Ajrichie.com .
But after reading reviews I'm sorry that I did and can only hope that things go well.

Welcome to our forum!
I buy almost everything online. For photo equipment, I use Amazon, Adorama, B&H, Cameta. If the price is unusually low, beware.
Care to tell us what you bought and how much you paid?
Since Amazon bowed down to CA. I stopped shopping there. I hope Adorama and B&H refrain.

What is "CA?"
That big state on the west coast.
That Ajrichie.com is a lousy retailer is no secret; a quick internet search will reveal that fact with many cautionary tales of bad buyer experiences. I always research an online dealer I'm not yet familiar with before placing an order. Forum discussions are a good place to get a general idea about a seller, although not every reported bad experience necessarily has merit; some buyers can be unreasonably demanding, don't read the product description, or don't understand the purpose of the item they are ordering, and then exaggerate the negative aspect by not revealing the full story behind the purchase.
The bottom line is, do your homework and you will keep bad online shopping experiences to a minimum.

I ordered a Nikon D7100 with a 18 - 105 lens . for a total of $806.00 , Great deal right!
But after ordering I went on line to check on Ajrichie.com reputation and low and behold , no one has anything nice to say about the way they do business .

I'm sure Amazon didn't "bow" by choice.

Sounds like grey market. Not a good thing with Nikon when it comes to warranty, repairs, and resale. You should always compare prices with the authorized retailers, such as B&H, Adorama, & KEH. If someone is offering the same product at more then a few percentage points cheaper then there is probably some type of scam going on. If you can't cancel then check out the warranty carefully when you get it. I believe that Nikon's USA warranty is in the form of a yellow card right on the box. Perhaps someone else can elaborate on what to check for with Nikon.
After many, many years of buying on line I've only had about 5 bad experiences, always with individuals not with companies (except for ClickInks, avoid them.)

I buy many items online and have never had a problem. However, I only purchase from well known and highly rated companies.
If you don't receive the product you thought you were buying and the company won't allow an exchange or refund, be sure to dispute the payment with your credit card company.
Can you cancel your order and have your credit card credited?
Good luck.
