Do they grow this for food or for fuel George? You've got a nice vanishing point going on there.

Thanks for commenting Bob. I aprreciate it. In the location it was taken I'm sure it's for food.

I, too, like the VP. I've got a bumper crop of sandspurs growing in my front yard but the neighbors don't seem to appreciate my expertise though.

Very nice shot. just a commend, if you would crop so the front comes out strait it would be a wee bit better.

I like it, but this crop, IMHO, needs a crop. The corn is what is interesting in this shot. I would try to get lower and also concentrate only on the rows of green vegetation which is, I think, what you intended in the first place. Lots of potential here. Nice shot and very creative idea.

Thanks for looking in and commenting Larry.

I was not familiar with sandspurs until I looked it up.
They're really not fit for human consumption.
As for your neighbors, you know..... some people!!

Thanks for taking the time to comment on this Erich. I'll have to try this again next year for composition. I will try to crop this one see how I can improve it.

Following some suggestions, here is an 8x10 crop.
I believe it improves the image.
Thank you.

Well, if it were my picture I would also try getting a straight bottom. Then I would get rid of the bright sky. No matter where I look in the photograph I am aware of it. Out it would go. All this of course after making the best print I could possible get.

Very nice shot that deserves a little work.
