Has anyone ever used a "12x9 Inches Graphic Drawing Tablet"
from a company called: "Monoprice"? This size runs about $90 so I'm wondering how they would compare with the big boy, Wacom? Any thoughts, thanks.

Wacom are best known and probably the safest purchase. I'll have to admit ignorance about some of the other brands.
Monoprice is one of them.
Consider -
- Monoprice warranty, return, and refund polices
- Monoprice feature set compared to Wacom
- Monoprice compatibility with third party accessories
- If you have a touch screen on your editing station you can use a graphics pen and edit directly on the screen.
Note: I use a Cintiq. Highly recommended but pricy.
Haven't purchased much from Monoprice but, what I have has been good. Their prices, return policy, & product quality, have been top notch.
I have had much success with Monoprice, great deals on some of the same inventory you can find any where else. All cozy quality, good return policy. I would trust them.
Monoprice is a stand up company. Many of their products are copies of more famous ones whose patents have run out. I would buy this device without worry, since it is probably a component level copy of a Wacom with a generic shell on it.

My warning would be about the size. I used a "large" Wacom and never got used to it. Borrowed a medium size, about 6x10, and it was almost as if I'd been using it all my life. I went with the large one for probably the same reason most people do. Once I went with the smaller one, that's all I use now. You may want to try to see if anyone you know has one or both of the sizes, and try them out. I immediately sold my large tablet to someone else who thought bigger was better.
