Artistic Wild Orange Daylily (4)

This brightly colored Lily adorns the countryside throughout the area where I live. And I'm sure the same is true in many rural areas around the country. Some have re-planted the bulbs in their yards and are seen around the towns.

I love all varieties of lilly's & this one was the first flower given to me by a boy when I was about 10 yrs old.....he knocked on my sisters door...I opened it & he shoved them at me & said these are for you & ran...lol

Very nicely done! We called them tiger lilies and I think we dug up a few from the roadside :)

I really love the artistic post work and the lovely shots, Gene. We call this daylily the tawny daylily, and even though they're apparently common, I think they're some of our prettiest.
