I want to learn more about digital photography.
Welcome!!! What is your camera????
I don't have a clue how far into photography you are but if you are a newbie like me a couple of books that I am reading for the second or third time is: Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson and the second is Digital Photography by Scott Kelby. I think the first on is the better one.
But it would help if you told us a little about yourself. Your camera, ever shot with film, ever shot with a Smith & Wesson, no,no, that's a different forum. But you get the idea.
Oh, I forgot. Welcome to the forum. You could just blast out the questions, have a paper and pencil handy because the answers will be coming.
I have a Fijifilm Finepix S1800, 12 Mega Pixels, 18X Zoom, lens f=5.0-90.0mm 1:3.1-5.6.

Not a problem.....Post some pictures!!!!
Yes I have shot with film cameras. I have a Kodak Hawkeye Flashfun that uses the roll film that you have to use a spool to wind the film onto when you take a shot. I purchased when I was about 9 or 10 years old. I also have a Fujifilm 35mm that I still use to take pics with on occations. But I use my digital most of the time now.

Hi Richard, maybe you want to Move this to the classified area to get better exposure..and Wecome to this forum!!!!
Here is a shot of a tree that I had taken right after the rain. It had been raining very heavy the morning I took this shot. After the rain had stopped I wanted to take some pics of the bayou near where I live. I knew the bayou would be near the top of its banks. I was able to walk under a bridge that crosses the bayou. I took some pics there also. I noticed some birds at the end of the bridge and walk very slow so I would not scare the birds and I noticed this tree and the lighting was just right and I got a great shot of the tree and the birds. I also notice this sign at an apartment complex.
Nice shots!!! Much needed rain!!!!?
