I have been watching and learning. Always liked photography. I used to shoot well. Then cancer got me. Now I'm cancer free. But I had to start over.

Welcome free423. I'm also new end have been enjoying reading other's comments and viewing their photos. I have only recently started to post.

9 years for me. That chemo can cook your brain. It was one of the reasons I decided to get serious about photography, to try and get some of the brain cells back. Welcome to the Hog and just right in. Most of us don't bite. :D Lets see some of your work.

3 Years for me ( Bladder ) and retired from Army with 30 years in 1990. Since then I've bought a boat, joined the United States Power Squadrons for boating education and worked my way from member of the Portsmouth, NH Sail & Power Squadron to Squadron Commander, then District Commander of District 19 and I have members in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont and now a Staff Commander at the USPS Headquarters in the Communications area and also Safety/Vessel Safety Check committees. All volunteer. I evaluate web sites for awards within the organization and also other jobs for a great pay of $0.00.

I've had cancer twice. I had a Pancoast Tumor in my right upper lung. It was huge. The Dr's removed it & my upper lobe. One yr later, I had 15 brain tumors. The Dr's gave me 15 days of whole head radiation and a clinicall trial. The Dr's gave me 5 months to live. It's been 5 years and I'm cancer free. I get checked every 180 days now. I was being checked every 90 days. Moffitt in Tampa does a wonderful job. I moked for 40 years. I don't smoke now.
