I've tried unsuccessfully to download Adobe Lightroom 5.7 upgrade 3 times. After over an hour of downloading I get a message say that it can't be downloaded. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

There were a couple of posts with problems after downloading it. I think I'll continue to defer for a while.

I did download the Photoshop CS6 upgrade, which upgraded ACR. So I might have what matters anyway.

Interesting, I did the upgrade in about 25 minutes with no problems at all.

No problems at all. I did it during idle time with no other apps running, including LR.

I did it yesterday on a Laptop PC.

I have a good Comcast cable connection. The download took about 5 or 10 minutes. My computer has an SSD and the installation took another 5 minutes.

No hiccups!

I have the Adobe CC subscription, so I got Bridge, Photoshop CC no problem, Lightroom failed at first, then I went in and started it again and it had no issue.

Downloads were pretty quick too, but I do have a 100 MB download pipe.

No problems here. Took about 10-15 minutes. 27" iMac running Lion. Internet connectivity via high speed cable. I wonder of when you tried there were so many others trying at the same time that their servers got bogged down? I may have been lucky.

My download was between 5 -10 minutes. What sort of internet provider are you using? What time of day was it? Did you reboot and try again? There may have been server issues, but a number of other possibilities also exist, including what else your computer was doing at the time.

The file is nearly a gigabyte so will take some time. If you're having trouble with Adobe's server, I can put the installation file on a public dropbox location. I'm pretty sure that does not violate anything because you can't use it without a serial number.

I think the problem is in my computer. I had lightroom 5.6 running each time I tried to download 5.7. I will try again with nothing else running.

As I told another poster, I think the problem is with my computer because I was running lightroom 5.6 each time I tried to download 5.7. I will try again without anything else running or I may just stick with 5.6. Thanks for offering to post the installation file.

I always have LR open when downloading the new version and never had any issues. Cable connection and still downloads fast.
