My 1st Photo contest

This pic was taken with Canon P&S A720 which I have been using for 5 yrs. It is 8mp. The Charlotte Observer ran a contest for 500 pictures and I submitted this pic. Was amazed when I rated #36 out of 500.
While at Walmart I saw a Nikon D3000 for $210. It was marked down 55%. Included a Nikkor 18-55 and 55-200. Got lucky.

Welcome to UHH. Your dog reflection shot is great. Congratulations on the D3000 kit. Amazon has it for $479.00 with only the 18-55mm lens. You did good.

Nice image. It proves that the photographer makes a picture more than the camera.

A photographer attended a dinner party and the
hostess said to the photographer "I've seen your
fantastic pictures, you must have a great camera."

At the end of the evening the photographer said to
the hostess "the food was delicious, you must have a great stove."

Welcome to the site.
