24 hr check on 2nd eye. Doctor pleased. Patient very pleased. I cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful it is to see clearly again. I love it. LOVE it. I'll be seeing my regular eye doc soon for reading glasses, but right now unless something changes, I don't need my glasses for reading in very good light. If you have good eyesight, don't take it for granted and be very very thankful.

Couldn't agree more.

I had my eye done in April. My vision is now 20/15 and I rarely use my reading glasses except for very tiny print. I've even been able to go to non-prescription shooting glasses.

Congratulations. Looks like you're amongst the crowd that has had good results. I went from putting on my glasses as I got out of bed to putting them on after my shower or later. I can drive without them but, prefer not to as there is still some astigmatism correction.

Good news for all of you, I had it done with no such luck. Rt. eye was my bad eye is now the good eye 20/80. My left eye which was my go to eye use to be 20/10 now 20/140 with no detail. Hanging up my camera after 50 years. Best shooting for you all and God Bless if you can say that anymore.

Lightcatcher, I am so sorry that you did not get good results. I will have to say I was extremely apprehensive about having it done after hearing stories like yours, reading about problems others had, hearing my doctor say, "99 times out of 100 things are perfectly fine", and then reading the could happens on the release form. It was not a decision made lightly. I do feel blessed that things went well for me. I am very very grateful.

I had my surgery on both eyes a little over four years ago. My vision went from dismal to 20/20 in both eyes "for distance". I still wear bifocals with no prescription on top and a reading prescription on the bottom! Works like a charm. Whenever I can, I don't wear them at all. I have started with some "floaters" in one eye which is a common result but the overall situation is excellent. Good luck and glad all went well. As BabyNurse says, it is surgery and is not to be taken lightly. I give thanks EVERY day when I open my eyes and can read the clock on the nightstand!
