I didn't know the weinermobile was still around. It used to tour around at concerts, sporting events, etc.

I remember this from when I was a kid. They came to the local grocery store and gave a way little whistles that drove my Mom crazy. The whistles were shaped like the wienermobile. Nice capture.

I saw these any number of times back in the late 40's, and during the 50's. Have not seen one for a number of years; however, they are still being used according the info. detailed on the following link:

Friend of mine drove one for Summer job during college. Went to parades, grocery stores, youth centers, etc. Was a lot of fun first two weeks of a ten week job. Pay was good.

I actually saw a show I think it was called something like "You get paid to do that" and they featured the college kids that get to drive the wiener mobile. They are actually only hired for one year stints.
