I'm trying to download the trial version of DxO FilmPack 5, but I can't install because it says my operating system (Windows Vista) isn't compatible. Anybody else have this problem?
Also, what do you think about DxO FilmPack? Is it worth time and effort to integrate into workflow for Lightroom and/or Photoshop?
Thanks.
Hi
I just went through comparing DxO to Alien Skin Exposure 6. That was about 4 weeks ago so I was comparing DxO FilmPack4. I found that I really, really liked the interface of Exposure 6 much more. The previews were instantaneous on my older iMac. I found the presets of Exposure 6 to be more realistic as well as more to choose from in color or B&W.
As luck would have it, it is on sale now, but they did cut me a deal on their sizing software Blow Up 3. Great company located in Raleigh, NC. My home state.
Give them a look, they have free trial, and they are releasing the version 7 and you will get that when it is released.

Exposure 6 looks great. Thanks for the tip. I'm going to download right now. Hopefully, Vista won't give me trouble.
Best wishes
Let me know what you think. Really hope you like it.

OMG. I love it! Snap Art looks pretty good, too. The "artistic" effects in PS Elements leave something to be desired. If Snap Art works as well as Exposure -- I may have something else to try out. Any experience with Snap Art?
Thanks so much!
Hey!
Not tried Snap Art yet. But I love playing with Exposure 6. Just had hip surgery last Thursday so I haven't been able to make any photos to play with yet. Glad you liked it. Keep me posted.
