I seldom use the video associated w/ the digital camera.....but we had flooding issues in our area so I took my Olympus PM2 and shot some video. It apparently shoots in MOV. The 20 sec videos were HUGE files.....I not only could figure out how to compress them, I couldn't email them OR post to FB.....and they wouldn't play in the standard video player on Windows 7.
I downloaded Wondershare video coverter but that really was little help, probably because I didn't know what I was doing AND unless you purchased it, a huge watermark was on the videos.
How do you post any of these MOV files when they are so big! Its the same w/ the panasonic G5 also.

hello Gene 51....thank you for the tip.....but where in the world did you come up w/ an italian company! (myself being italian.) At anyrate, I will be downloading this later today and giving it a try.........have you tried this?

I just went looking for a free program that would convert h264 video from my D800 - it works fine. Best to have a fast computer with fast hard drives and at least 16 mb ram. Rendering is a slow process.

I can't be sure, but I believe that was intended as sarcasm on his part because your thread title was so vague. Many people, including me, generally bypass threads with titles that give no hint of the subject. You might have gotten more responses with a title like "How can I compress large video files?", rather than just HELP.
