D5300 question

I presently own a Nikon D5100. I make 16x20's almost exclusively of all types of subjects for The Philadelphia Photographic Society competitions. Do you think I would notice a difference if I used the D5300 with the no Bayer array & larger sensor.
Thanks.

At 16x20 inches you wouldn't notice much improvement at all. Printing at 24x36 inches would yield a noticeable improvement.

I you want to upgrade spend a little more and get a D7100. You get many upgraded features.

Thanks. I want to get away from heavy cameras. I was a working event pro for 40 years - the shoulders aren't what they used to be.

They both have the same sensor size!

"Physical size" is the same, but the D5100 has 16MP Sony sensor and includes an AA filter, where the D5300 has a 24MP Toshiba sensor and has no AA filter. Image results and resolution are actually quite different between the two bodies.
