Really Right Stuff - Monopod Heads

i am planning to purchase a RRS monopod head. Either the MH01 or MH02. I understand the difference between the two, but wondering if any of you who use either one would be kind enough to comment? I'll just bet that Either will be far superior to my Bogen tilt heads of old. Yes, I will be using a lever clamp! Thanks.

I use the MH01 on an older monopod. The monopod is sturdy, but the prior head wasn't. Adding this quality head made it a completely different tool. Regarding clamps, I use both RRS L-brackets and quick release plates on lens collars. You do need to keep a Allen wrench (kex key) handy to reorient the clamp. The big knob is the best feature.

I have the non-rotating one and if it were available when I bought, I would by the rotating head. Quality is good on both.

I have several tripods and monopods by RRS. I have the MH01 head and love it. What matters in the selection is what are your preferences and uses going to be. And you are right, which ever you choose it will be better than an old Bogen!

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=5ywPJX7K3IU for a comparison of the mh01 and mh02. I use a Vanguard pistol grip myself. Love it!

Those look like the really right stuff.
Tool-less looks good.
But I (personally) liked the indexing of the one that took a tool.

Wouldn't the indexing in a tool-less head be cool?
