The birds are starting to return to the Everglades now that it is much colder of north. Wasn't a great deal to shoot, but here are a few feathered acquaintances from my slosh through the 'glades. Hope you enjoy them.

Glad you enjoyed the shots. I always seem to get my feet wet when I go to the 'glades. Even when I promise myself that I won't. . . Heck, the better shot always seems to be found with me standing in the water. . . :) :)

Great shots Larry, good variety, like the detail and colors. It's nice to see the birds returning. Every day brings more

Thanks. It was one of those pull off the road really, really quick and jump out with the camera before it disappeared!

Been there, done that (far too often) My favorite is when you stop, stalk the bird. Everything is going right---and then John Tourist with his little point and shoot drives up, get out yelling "Hey, what are your looking at?"

Grrrrrrrrr~! I'm looking at the butt end of the bird you just scared off!!! :-(
