Glad you like this, it's one of my favorite trees.
It's a copper beech, Erv.
Nice shot. Are both trees beech?
Well, hush my puppies! At first I thought, "Here's another one who doesn't know how to spell". Then I realized you were referring to a tree and not the sea shore. The tree is indeed spelled beech. Nice shot. Love the rich color.
Both trees are beech. These are in Washington Park which is an arboreal wonderland.

Thanks, Willard. I looked it up:
"The 81-acre park was created during the 1870s-80s from a design by Calvert Vaux and Fredrick Olmsted, who is famous for New York City's Central Park. "
Same trees, different day
I love your first image, Willard3. The reflections in the water are beautiful. I think the placement of the shore grasses on the left make it a more stunning scene than the second image. The colors are gorgeous, its a beautiful autumn day
Gorgeous!
