Sitting in my office, i noticed the herd coming from the west and a young fawn walking out of step.
As he got closer, i noticed his front leg joint bent back and my guess would be its dislocated. Bloody because he is walking on it across fields/roads and the frozen weeds.

Bringing up the back was 2 new bucks interested in one of the doe. The larger of the two mated with one of the doe, and as the younger buck got closer, that set the bigger one off and then the chase was on.

Hi Marilyn. This is a hard time for our friends. Mother nature can be a hard woman some times. I hate to see the animals suffer with things like this. It hurts my heart. But your shots are of the real lives ups and downs and I love you showing me them. You have some beautiful shots of a beautiful animal!! Thank you for sharing them with me!!!

It is indeed a hard time for them. And i hate to see them like this, especially a young one at that.
Just wish they could of been under different circumstances.
Hugs Lil Buddy.

Thank you for looking and commenting.
