I've changed my avitar to a photo of a camwea just like the on my father gave me for Christmas in 1955. That Kodak introduced me to a lifetime of taking pictures that has lasted 59 years.

It is wonderful to still have that treasure and see all the joy it has brought you since.
My first camera, given to me in January of 1957 for my birthday was very similar - an 'Imperial Reflex'. Wish I knew what happened to it. My mother thought that my younger brother had it, but a search of his home didn't locate it. I would have loved to be able to display it.
I wish I still had that old Dualflex, however it was replaced with a Brownie because it would only shoot B/W film because 620 film only came that way and the lenses were not compatible with color film. The photo is one that I found on EBay, alas I have no idea what happened to it. I have had more cameras than I can remember since then from Instamatics to Polaroids to my first SLR, a Nikon EM with a 50mm f1.8 Ais.

I've got a Duaflex III sitting on my bookshelf - with the flash unit and the blue flashbulb - the flash unit has a ding or two but that's expected for a "mature" camera...
No case though, not sure what happened to that.
I've been told that you can load 120 roll film on the old 620 spools but you have to make your own paper backing. Seems like a lot of work for a camera with just average optics.
My first was a Hopalong Cassidy; it still works.

 actually, used and abused...
My First camera was a "Brownie Hawkeye". However when I started a job as a Junior in high school, I had a part-time job and bought my first 35mm camera... Argus C-3. The school had a "medium format" double lens "Rolli" that I used for the school newspaper and yearbook and I did use that as well - but I really liked the Argus C-3.
I still have it and use it from time to time... Just because I can ;-)
My first SLR camera was a Russian made Zenith B took pentax screw mount lens. It was built like a tank no thru the lens metering or focus screen. Great to learn on just like a manual transmission car.

Actually, I'd give the upper edge to a manual transmissioned Crosley over a Zenit.
