I first became aware of Peter Beard when he published his first book, "The End of the Game" in 1963. He is a very interesting character and his photographic works extend from wildlife in Africa to modelling. He "discovered" Imam. He had a very interesting home out on Montauk in New York which burned down a few years ago.
There was a DVD published in 1998 entitled " Peter Beard: Scrapbooks from Africa and Beyond". I purchased a copy through Amazon. It really was a fascinating video giving insights into his creative genius.
