I was just looking at the nikon D750 and did not find the Remote Trigger socket spot to connect my lightning trigger or external Triggers. Was it me or did Nikon just do not add a 10 pin socket to plug my triggers into? This is a real Deal bracker
I am second guessing myself now thinking of the D810? Or Did I Just Look in the wrong Spot. Any of you UHH give any info, Thanks

It should have a cable for the ten pin.

Yes that is what I am talking about , that 10 pin remote. I could not find it. I did not see any spot on the front of the camera. And I looked? I hook my remote cable to that. For my Lightning triggers. My d300& D700 have it!

It's possible they left it off of the D750.

The remote release for the D750 is the MC-DC2 which appears to have a mini-USB connector rather than the 10 pin connector.

Supposedly you can also control the camera with a compatible smart phone.

Nikon D750 requires AS-15 Hot shoe adaptor and or SC series cable

No built in 10 pin socket

Not sure what 10 pin outlet you're seeking. I use the "accessory" port for remote triggering.

Thank you UHH that is the info I was looking For, I use the 10 pin for my lightning triggers, now I must see if I can get an adapter for them,
I plan on using my D700 as back up and seriously considering the D750 as a new toy. Any
Pros or cons with the Camera. Thank you all for your Helpful advice.

Left side of the body, the top rubber cover is your remote port. The D750 is a "prosumer" level body so it uses the same remote plug as the D600, D610, Df, D90, D7000, D7100 and a few others. It does NOT use the Pro style MC-10 plug.

That connector on my D800 is, IMHO, the worst piece of design Nikon has ever come up with. I can't work it with my fingers because of the camera body. I was delighted to see they dumped it on the D750.

I think the D750 has infrared inputs...which I love for ease of use on a tripod. Would need to verify that.

The D750 also has Bluetooth so you can control everything from your Bluetooth devices; e.g. cell phone. I think they might also have an inexpensive Bluetooth release like the infrared one also.

A big pro that has the D750 in my sights is the tilting screen. Wish they'd gone all the way to the fully articulated screen of the D5100 but this is a big step in the right direction for many of my uses of it.

Also it weighs considerably less than my D800.

I also think it uses two SD cards instead of the stupid(expensive, hard to find ,and doesn't go in the computer socked) compact flash card the D800 needs.

Might be more accurate to say Wi-Fi.

Wi-Fi.
Shoot, even I can run my D3300 with my Wi-Fi dongle and my smarter-than-me-phone.
I was playing with that the other night.
But I do have the wired remote I like to use more. Not quite the old cable release, but fun.

Do people really use those tilt screens that much? Seems gimmicky.
