I have a student/client (she was in one of my CE classes and is now using my computer services). Spinoffs of 22 years of teaching Community Education classes..... business for me.
She asked me to work with her on using the media/slideshow program ProShow Gold from Photodex. Extremely capable multimedia presentation program.
Well, the discussion ulltimately led to the period in time when she lived near Yosemite, and a neighbor in the area was Ansel Adams, who she became friends with, circa the seventies.
She proceeded to show me a Print she purchased from her friend Ansel. It was an amazing b/w framed print with the print size being about 16x20 (final frame size about 21x26).
She had it appraised and it came in at $54,000. Yes the comma is in the right place.
Or, about 18 times what she paid to Ansel in the late Seventies.
The mathematicians in the room can figure out the original purchase price, and possible the annual yield on the investment.
Me, I gotta dig my truck out from under some snow and drive through the snow 150 yards to the nearest plowed road, to go to town and get some lunch. Snow accumulation two days.
Two Days of snow. +2 Exp Comp. Should have done +1.5 to make the snow white, but not blown out.

Hmmm, an absolutely breathtaking AA picture to view, and 8.6%
return per year... I'd take that.
