Absolutely not, Bob. These prove to have excellent IQ on the downloads. Beautiful shots with sharp detail.

Trying to see what the Canon 6D will do with a higher ISO. All were shot with the Canon 400mm, f/5.6L lens and in Aperture mode. The f.stop and shutter speed are indicated above each picture. Is there enough noise to be of concern?
Please view in DOWNLOAD mode!
Hope you are having a nice weekend!

So far there has been no member that evidenced enough noise to be a problem.
Thanks for adding your evaluation and your kind remarks!

I love the Canon 6D!! Attached is from night football last month that was shot at 8000 ISO. Noise isn't an issue with this camera.
Bottom line, our problem as photographers is that we are too critical of details like noise that non-photographers don't even see. Look at some of the shots in Sports Illustrated, they're hugely cropped and full of noise.
Your shots are fabulous! Don't worry about noise....
I appreciate your sharing one of your photos with ultra-high ISO settings with us! Your comments and assurances are much appreciated!

I hope you are doing well and are still shooting more of your great pictures! Are you still able to get the zoo shots or is it too cold now? Thanks for the comment and the thumbsup!

We still will go to the zoo on milder winter days, sometimes just the RainForest building which is kept at 80 degrees.
