SX50 WB question

Hi, is there a way to change the way the camera "sees" WB?
I'm talking about the default settings that will be carried through all the modes, including auto.
I've found that there is a very light yellow tint, more noticeable because where I live there is an abundance of limestone and sand (I live in the Arava desert), and the predominant reflected light tends to the siena color....
Thank you in advance for your responses

Hi, I am aware of pages 122 to 125, but this is not the question I asked.
What I want to do is set the WB so it carries throu ALL the modes including Auto, and make it the default.
I am sorry if I wasn't clear. Blame it on My English. My apologies

I understood the question and thought pages 123 (custom white balance) and 124 (manually correcting white balance) would do the trick. I guess auto mode shooting won't allow that. Maybe a call to Canon customer service?

Another thought: instead of using auto shooting mode, use Program. See if your WB changes follow through in that. Basically P is the same thing as auto, but offers more settings options.

Page 124 tells you exactly what you ask about. If you are having a yellow tint problem you will need to add some blue tint. Have you tried doing this?
