This is Nikita, a grey tabby and BFF (Best Furry Friend) of my Shih Tzu Duncan. What a pleasant visage! She is a friendly soul with a big purr and the softest coat.

Bob, I had a female cat called Missa with a fur very similar to your cat. I lost her four years ago to renal failure.
It was hard on me! I cried like a child when she died because she used to spend many hours with me and I knew how much she loved me.
Once in a while a tear comes to my eyes when I think of her.
But leaving sadness aside, you have a beautiful cat that will make you rejoice for years to come.

What a beauty! A great photo too. Makes me want to get my fingers in that fur.

Thank you Fergus. Nikita is mostly grey tabby, but she's got some peach-colored fur mixed into to her coat as well. It is incredibly soft.

Thanks Bob. This is one of the few times I set out to create a monochrome image from the onset (although it was converted from a color original).

Thanks much Randy. I likened this to her "Senior picture" (as in a high school graduation portrait).
