It appears that analysis was based on a pipeline going across Canada to the Pacific Coast.

I know let's build a Canadian pipeline to carry Canadian oil through the US to be shipped throughout the world and not affect the price of gas in the US one bit. That way the US government takes the risk.

Raising privatizing profits and societizing risk to a new level.

It does not matter that the tar sand oil is some of the most polluting oil around.

Exactly!!! let tax payers do the clean up. that oil severely eats the pipe. and they know it. thay why the do not want the liability. BUT leave it to repubs. to burden taxpayers more. :roll:
