I am obviously new to this forum, I have a canon rebel xti with 18-55 and 75-200 lenses that I bought on ebay for a beginner's camera. I used to shoot with a 35 mm only, I have learned a lot just from using manual settings and messing around in my back yard! So glad to find a forum to learn more and to get critiques of my photos, thanks for adding me!
Pelicans on the lake I live on.

Welcome to the Hog. Glad you like your camera.
Post some photos!
Thanks, am excited to have found this forum.
Welcome to the family! Lots to learn, share and enjoy here.
I like your American White Pelicans. They visit central WA in early summer. A hint re photographing white birds: set your exposure darker so you can get more detail in the feathers.
Greetings, and welcome to the UHH.
Welcome to the Forum Tsmith.
Charismatic bird is a pelican.
Sometimes the rule of thirds is a good rule to break;
however on this occasion, not so. It would help your
pelican photo.
Welcome Smithy.
