I finally took a trip to warmer climes and took along the field macro rig.
First day at lunch, in the parents' dining room, it was 75 degrees & I notice a small spider on my left hand. Totally tame. Yes it was a jumper. Explained to my skeptical Mom that they were harmless. I took him outside and released him. Later sitting in the front room I saw a very large jumper on the ceiling. Again the explanation & the release.
The next day the temps dropped to 30 with strong cold winds and of course not a critter in sight.
Lesson learned. Next time, jumper first and then lunch.

Definitely my life motto.
Absolutely, Mums are very forgiving.
Yes you did! We need to see the following statement hand written 500 times: Macro first, food second!

After I'm done kicking myself in the backside, I'll get right on it. ;-)
