These are from Game 1 of the fall season. The sun was bright so I had no problems with lighting as I do with stadium lights.

Lots of great action going on for sure. Nice exposure and captured detail.
However, I think that for some of images, you cropped a bit too tight on the subject(s); often it's good to have a little extra space around the subject and center of action to get a sense of the dynamics on the field, and also so that the composition doesn't feel too cramped.
Great capture Gene! Lens? Camera? Where you using spot focus, matric, etc.?

I shot these using a Canon EOS 50D w/EF70-200 f2.8L IS USM + EF 2.0x II TC (almost all at 400mm); Tv @ 1/1250"; Partial Metering Mode; AUTO ISO; AUTO WB; AI SERVO AF; HS @ 5-fps; HH on a (rifle) Bi-Pod.
