Beautiful shot of a national treasure.the Chesapeake Bay Carlo. Is this Fishing Bay because my dad grew up Elliott's Island. Are the Honkers coming in for the winter.

Were just visiting for a day of photography...weather was great...no ducks at that point but plenty of Eagles..!!
Hey Carlo, Honkers is a local term for Canadian Geese because of the sounds they make when flying, once again beautiful shot.

Beautiful Carlo, the download is superb. :-D
I've been to Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge many times to do photography. I've often thought about going to Blackwater since it's just on the other side of the eastern shore. Are there roads or trails that you can walk to get to different locations? Are there hotels in the area?
CO, there are hotels and motels in the town of Cambridge Md. that is not far from Blackwater. I'm sure their are trails because it is a national refuge, but it might be a good idea to rent a skiff since most of the area is marsh. I'm sure the locals will help you out with more info.

Blackwater is in /near Cambridge MD so lodging and restaurants are close by. Yes there are roads, trails and lots of good observation decks / areas /...also at least one photo blind. I plan on going back very nice.

That sounds great. I've looked at the wildlife schedule on their website. It looks like lots of birds are migrating through there this time of year. I'm going to try to go there either very soon or in the spring.

Thanks for viewing and the nice comment.
It was a wonderful 65 degree fall day...!
Not as cold as it may look...Adjusted some settings to accentuate the sun glistening on the water. I have a series of shots like this from all my travels to water venues.
