Gimbal Head. The buck stops here....

Recently I had the need to PM MTShooter.
See, I had finally pulled the trigger on buying a Gimbal Head to support my Big Tammy (Tamron 150-600mm lens).
MTShooter is a member and a contributor here on UHH. I like to give my business to those who work harder. MTShooter is that, and more.
STELLAR SERVICE!
I popped my order in, then PM'd Carter to let him know. A heads up.
BAM! A reply.
BAM! An email saying the order was posted. As in the mail. WOW!
BAM! got an email with a tracking number. A REAL tracking number. One I put in my Smarter-than-me-Phone, and got feedback every time the shipment moved, arrived, the driver farted, the truck stopped. Well You get the idea. I could see what was going on. I like that.
Two day service! No, you read it right, 2 days.
Not extra, not an add on, plain GREAT SERVICE!
Business like I do business when I ship something.
Very much appreciated! And the root of this post.
Product:
First, Carter is pretty adamant about cases. He like's a good case. I get that.
An Outstanding case with the head. Impressive!
The Nest Gimbal Head is smooooth. Being a guy, I of course opened, mounted (the tripod's been waiting much of the day), and hung the lens and camera. Balance was quick and super easy. Amazingly easy.
I had doubts, I had wonders, would the rig give me a wide enough range of movement? Would it be limited on my chunky-monkey Bosch surveyors tripod with my DIY top plate?
NO! And WOW no! Looks like it was made for this beefola tripod arrangement I conjured up.
Goes toes, up to nose hairs in range. Any missed shots now are totally on a loose nut behind the camera. (Me)
See the pictures below.
I am very pleased and happy with this purchase. And can't recommend Carter's Camera Cottage high enough.
Got a Bigma lens? Get one of these Gimbal heads.

PS: Carter doesn't know it yet...
But the case for the Gimbal head, well, it is now the new case for the Big Tamron Lens. :-D ;)
I pulled the Velcro'd hump and Big Tammy settled right in for the games. Even my Optima sling sets in waiting for the call to travel.
The Gimbal head is going to stay on the adapter base I made for it. The tripod has to do double duty between the gimbal and the Macro rig. But the Macro rig might be reassigned to the antique tripod for macro work. Just a little drilling and tapping to add a little versatility toward that end.
I feel so much better. 'Course my panties are shredded, but my GAS attack is gone.
Got a Bigma lens? Get one of these Gimbal heads.

Thank You very much Jay Pat!
It, and especially Carter, MTShooter, and his Camera Cottage have won my praise.
It does not come easily, nor lightly.
It's everything he said it is, and more.
Very happy!
Thank you for your reply. ;)
I apologize for the crappy phone pictures.

Thanks Mark!
Yeah, it is a stretch. But when I move it into the doorway it
just reaches to the outside wall.
I'm going to be much more apt to use the lens now that it is completely effortless to do so. ;)

Outstanding Service begets Outstanding Praise.
I've watched and learned a lot from your posts here on UHH. Always right on the mark, always helpful, always trustworthy.
There are several here on UHH I can count on, pillars of the community, if you will. People who, as I attempt to do, give very freely of their knowledge and experiance to all who come here to share.
I do hope you aren't upset about the case. But it does make a case for not needing a case for the caseless Big Tammy. But in case you make a case about products having a case, or being caseless as the case may be, I'll be in your corner in case you find I can help clue the caseless on the need of a case in every case. Just in case.
Stellar Service, Outstanding Product, Ecstatic Customers, Honest Advice.
Carter's Camera Cottage.
Thank You for an outstanding boost as I walk this trail called Photography.
OK, back to crying in my beer....
I'm going to Church before I can go play.
(I need it.)
Don't know what we would do without MT -
He's number 1 ....
But right now, I'm broke ! ....

Well down the road.
It took me a while, too. ;)
Next time do your photos out side. You don't want everyone to see your messy house.

Sonny, don't mean to plug your whistle about the case thing, but Carter was aware several weeks ago that you and others were going to double-duty the case. Some reports have them being used as beverage coolers, bassinets, and dog carries. What you do with your is between you and whatever you want to put in it. They do leak!
