There's that U.S. flag still laying on the ground.

Good shot. Have you tried converting to B&W? I find it removes a few of the artifacts where the sensor is attempting to make a full color shot out of something that is already 95+% monochrome. Then I tweak the contrast, exposure and sharness a little more.

   Great shot, Erv. Too much rain and snow showers to be able to get out and see the moon let alone shoot it. :D Thanks for showing.

And I never thought to try infared. I will have to give it a try soon. Next two days I am busy and then again on Tuesday and next weekend. We have Thomas the Tank Engine at the RR museum for 5 days and we were warned by e-mail that on-line sales are way up. I am in the operations department and will be doing streetcar conductor/motorman and train conductor all five days.

That is pretty cool! We took Harrison to it last year. He had a blast. That has to be fun for you to be with the kids! They did a very nice job here. Fun stuff!!!

We may be headed to a new record if the second weekend equals the first. Our old record was 39,000 in five days.

The museum runs streetcars and has other things. As the largest operating RR museum in the west we have 88 acres, seven car barns and several outdoor exhibit areas. We have a 1/2 mile plus loop for streetcars and 2 miles of electrified main line for the big interurban cars to run with the trains.
This year they are bringing Percy also and he will be on a shuttle run from one side of the museum to the other while Thomas goes out 2 miles and back.
The ones we have out here are just shells with smoke generators etc. We have one of our locos on the other end. If kids notice and ask we say the second engine is for safety because no matter which way we are going it is forward.

We are at http://www.oerm.org/ .
