End of the day, all's quiet, and the ocean's smooth as glass.

You take a deep breath, letting the stress evaporate, soaking in the serenity and natural beauty, just as the guy behind you on the beach fires up 120 decibels worth of gangster rap on his boombox.

Some folks just need killing.

As I read your first two lines and saw your beautiful photograph, I was thinking that I needed some of that tranquility. The boombox ruined it. My theory is that boats and saltwater have healing properties. Thanks for the vision.

Some people don't know how to enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature.

This is a nice piece of art. As to the Idiots around us, they continue to exist because the law protects them and because I do not pack.

Thanks, Murex. Glad you enjoyed the image, and I'm quite certain you're correct about the healing powers of boats and saltwater. Always works for me, boomboxes not withstanding, lol.

Thanks for your visit and comment, much appreciated!

Thanks, Angler. I don't think you can look at a scene like this and not feel your blood pressure drop a few points. Very stress-relieving.

Tenerife sounds like just the thing for the January blues, too. Great idea, and I'm certain Mrs. A will approve, as a means of reducing your own stress level.

Or will you be taking her along?

LOL (Sorry for that, Mrs. A, couldn't resist! Someone gives you a slow pitch, you have to swing the bat, lol...)

Thanks as always for your visit and kind words, Angler, always much appreciated. And I hope Mrs. A doesn't hate me now, lol.

There's one in every crowd, seems like. And if not a boom box, it's a jet ski or leaf blower. 'Quiet' is but an unrealized dream these days.

Thanks for stopping by, Photophile. Always much appreciated!

Lol, thanks, Letmedance. Glad you enjoyed the image.

Idiots abound. Used to be you only found them in Congress, but sadly, they've reproduced and are now commonly seen in every walk of life.

Thanks for your visit and insightful comment. Much appreciated!

Wonderful image and good insights on all the dumbasses among us. You have my permission to kill, quickly and painlessly of course, next time.
