and I have a few complaints. First of all has anyone noticed how high you have to set the ISO to take a photo? For instance the photo I just took outside was taken at 6400 ISO, with my d600 I could take the same photo with the Iso set at 400. What gives??
Also I know that the weight is lighter than my d600. Is that because it isn't made as well? The strap is pretty cheesy too. I will have to order another one to make sure the camera is safe.
I won't speak to any of your other concerns but I would suggest to the owner of any new Nikon or Canon or other quality DSLR to ditch the strap supplied with the camera that shouts, "Steal me, steal me!" or alternatively, "Hey, look at me!" and buy any of the numerous much more comfortable and un-labeled straps that are available, like the OpTek or even a Black Rapids type strap, and leave 'em wondering what you are shooting with. But that, I suppose, is just me, a guy who won't even mount a dealer license plate bracket on his car. John O.

Well I'm 70 years young and I wanted the extras the 750 has...I will learn how to use it, may take awhile though. My five year old grandson has been with me the last few days and I find it hard to concentrate with him around. His photo is included with this email.
I shouldn't have posted about this until I knew what I was complaining about!!
Hope you have a great day!

It is difficult when the David Busch book for the D750 won't go on sale until Feb. 2015, according to Amazon. His books are a great way to learn the ins and outs of any new camera, IMHO. In the meantime, buy a more comfortable aftermarket strap that doesn't advertise "Nikon" in bright yellow letters and is easier on your shoulder too. There are many good ones to select from, and the topic has been covered- see "SEARCH", camera strap.

You are still shooting pretty fast at 320.

You could easily slow down to about 125 and stop down as shown above, f8 would be good and capture the whole scene in focus.

You are shooting with one of the best lenses on the market but you are wasting it's ability to capture the full color of the scene and detail by shooting fast and forcing the ISO up. As was also said above you could be shooting at ISO 100 easily in that much light, at f8 you may have to go to 200 but I would slow it down even further if warranted and keep the ISO 100 if at all possible. You can definitely do better that what you have done so far. The difference between 400 and 100 won't be nearly as dramatic as between 6400 and 400 but there will be an improvement.

I am impressed with the color depth you got at ISO 400, just think what you will get at 100.
