Why not try something like Saran Wrap ??? Theres one that is advertised on tv that reallly clings to the bowl and dosen't even leak when turned upside down... Worth a try...............

Don,
You are kidding right? That stuff is not clear my wife uses it on bowls all the time. I have the clear stuff on all my cameras and have never had a problem with it. I change them at least every 3 months since they get scratched and dirty enough to warrant changing.

My camera LCD protectors have stayed in pretty good shape, but the one I have on my cell phone takes a beating. It's a lot easier and cheaper replacing the plastic than the LCD screen.

Do you have a preference of brand? Except for the heavy duty one I have on my cell phone, I haven't noticed much of a difference.

I use them on all my LCDs (except TV). They protect. You never know if you have something abrasive on your hand or in your camera case.

Check with a sign shop, ask if they have a scrap of static cling film. That should work for you.

Good luck

Jerry,
Not really I just buy what is the cheapest, no reason to buy expensive ones when I change them that often.

B&H has them for various specific cameras. I bought one for a D5100. No problems yet. The D5100 protector was around $11.

Don't foreget about places like Staples where you can get inexpensive screen covers. I just cut them to size to fit the screen on the camera and it works just fine. I have had the present one on for over a year now.

I have used Zagg screen protectors on all my LCD screen for several years. They will not come off without help. They are clear, and, now come in "gloss" and "mat" finish. If you watch the videos on their web site you should be impressed.

One of my work associates keeps his cell phone in his pocket along with his keys. The screen on his phones, without protection, get so bad he has to get new phones every few months. He is waaaaay to stubborn to put his phone in another pocket. I put a Zagg on his newest phone and the screen shows no damage since (about 6 months).

No, I have no connection with Zagg, but I won't carry a display without one.
