For me, the last one stands out!!

Beautiful set. Agree, the last one -with those colors - is really nice.
Well done Douglass, I am partial to the detailed true bug...
Absolutely beautiful -- all of them. Wish I could do this as well as you.

The true value of this forum is that we completely share knowledge with one another. We have all noticeably progressed in our personal abilities, because we share. There are several exceptional macro-photographer on this forum (including a few girls), and we strive to answer all questions about technique and equipment. Ask away!
Your last photograph is superb as viewed in the download format - well taken.
I sure glad I didn't post my Cactus flower shot. Yours are far better than mine. Same for the Mantis.
All very nice pics, Douglas, really love the Mantis.
Douglass, I enjoyed these photos as well with the 4th and last being my favorites. I love the colors of the flower and also love that the mantis seems to have some of the violet color of the flower on its side, maybe reflection. Very well done.
I hope you and Bill missed me.
I have been meaning to tell you that I did get to your house. It is probably the best looking in town. Great place to visit. Are there any fish in the beaver ponds behind the town?

Yes. The large beaver pond above town is stocked with trout, as is Tomichi Creek, all the way down past my cabin, past the old ball mill, and into the cow pastures, where permission is needed to fish on private property.
And no, we have not missed you!
You have shown us the way again. The downloads on the true but and mantis are particularly superb.
Nice set, esp like 4, 5 and the last.
