1. Your idea of stars, and my idea of stars.... differ.

2. Yes, it does appear to be wind in the Maple tree.

3. Other things appear clear and in focus.

4. Your deck is still moving. No dampers under your tripods feet will stop that.

I see that someone suggested moving to the grass for your time imaging. If the deck is more convenient try a bit of shag rug under your tripod for vibration dampening. Also with and without image stabilization. I like the sound of your project and I think I may try some on my deck.

Cheap DIY. Several layers of tire inner-tube rubber cemented with Weldwood should damp it.

WOW! just checked Amazon-Neewer damper set $5. Skip the DIY!
