You caught some excellent tones in this one. It's beautifully composed, and the dark background makes the color pop. Great work!

Lot of oak tree around the St. Louis area, They turn brown and don't usually loose their leaves until late Feb.

I appreciate your encouragement, TP. Thank you so much. There are a lot of dead, dried up, bug eaten leaves to choose from now. Trees are almost bare. Color was very short lived :cry:

Many varieties of oak trees here as well but pretty much leaves are on the ground, as well as the acorns. Thank you for checking this out. I appreciate that.

If anybody could do that, it would be you! After all the UPS truck is brown, and we all think that is beautiful and this is much better than that. Brown is the blending of all colors, makes a great background for the leaves.

Wow, Rob, I'll take those upward thumbs! thank you very much! I had many to chose from, some were pretty crunchy and crispy. Just playing around, enjoying the time.

Kind of like the UPS truck-- anticipated, bearing gifts, bringing joy. Thanks, 1-L, I spent a week in Granville, house/dog/niece sitting for my sister so had some play time and plenty of leaves.
