Upgrading to a Nikon D750?

My current camera is a Nikon D5300. It is a great and easy camera. The only reason I’m considering a Nikon D750 Our other recommendations? Is because I really enjoy taking Sunset pictures and want to capture the Max. Quality I can. Every sunset is different there are never two the same. You only get one chance at that Sunset.
One thing that the Nikon D5300 has that I like is GPS. I have learned to like that feature. Not on the D750

Maybe consider this...take half the money you would have spent on a D750 and put that towards a FF wide lens...prime or zoom...either or...something in the 2.8 and give that a try. Your correct in that a FF camera will give you wider shots. I have the 18-140 and am very pleased with the shots on a D5100 at 18mm...very sharp lens.

I am a retired CPA and CFP. To me if you are not in the business or sell your pictures or are thinking of starting your own Photography business, that camera and the various extra lens(glass) that you need to bring the camera to it potential is a lot of money.
If this discretionary income is within reach so be it. Thats mu $0.02 worth.

Thank You, I think I learned that buying my Great D5300, its even a better camera than I thought. I started with a Nikon F3. I went for the DX to save $$$ but really wanted a FX Camera.

I have had Nikon's many, many years. Recently had D800 and have had the D400, D700 D7000etc.
Nikon is having it's problems. The D600 oil spots? problems seem to persist. A review I just read by a 750 user for what it was not so kind for what it is worth.
I think that upgrading to Full Frame in any good model
would be good start. Good luck.

Thanks Bret, I haven't taken pictures for years. I'm starting to realize with the higher mega pixel cameras and light room, a wider lens gives me more to work with
