When I open the Hedgehog Forum, I always seem to get a message to update my Flash Player. I am very suspicious of this, as it only happens in the Hedgehog Forum and no where else. It completely knocks me out of the forum.

I have not updated the flash player, as I am not sure it is legit. Anyone else having this issue. Sometimes the update message pops up after I have been in the forum for awhile.

Yes, I also have been "invaded" by questionable downloads. Even when my mouse, by accident, happens to cross a path of some advertising. I NEVER download anything. If you think something is out of date, go to the validated site, or check what your version is. I have even had my AVG Internet Security completely remove me from the hog.

I have the same thing happening. I go to Control Alt Delete and it shows up as a running application. I delete it from there. It covers the whole screen. No I don’t trust it.

I fell into that trap as well. Spent several days off and on getting rid of the programs with the help of the "control Panel: programs and features". Lesson learned.

Maybe the admins on this site should look in to this issue. For me it only happens on the Hedgehog forum.

Why anyone wouldn't use the free AdBlock in today's environment is beyond my comprehension. If you were using it, you wouldn't be getting these annoying pop-ups. Also, MalwareBytes (another freebie) helps with this & other malware issues.

DO NOT update Flash Player unless the update comes straight from Adobe. Adobe does not issue its updates via a pop up on your screen. A legit update will come from the automatic updater from Adobe.

If you use a linux system for surfing the internet, you don't get all that crap.
