Been there, the only thing that is really missing is the foul smell of the rotting fish along the creek running through town. Other than that a neat town to visit.

Brings back memories, appreciate it  I lived in Ketchikan the summer of 1971, worked at Barney Lind's Print Shop, I imagine the place has really changed nowadays. Pictured is a shot from my instamatic of Mission Street.

Yup ! But that wasn't the only thing... That area of town was house after house of red lights...

Ketchikan is one of the more photogenic towns in Alaska...

====================================== I didn't live in Ketchikan, but lived on Annette Island 51/52... Flew over (and sometimes by boat)over to the big city many times...

My dad went to Alaska to escape the draft of WWII. They were wanting help up there anyway. He loved it, but he still got drafted and ended up in New Guinea. This is a good video.
