My wife planted these in the spring of 2013. When the growing season was over, she trimmed them, put them in pots and kept them on a window sill in the basement. A little plant food and occasional watering kept them alive throughout the winter.

In the spring of 2014, she planted them in hanging pots and they thrived throught this year's growing season. Each pot produced a dozen blooms. These are samples of what grew.

I shot these HH w/Canon EOS 50D w/EF 70-200L 2.8 + 2.0x II. PP w/PsE8, uncropped.

Enjoy them. Comments welcome.

:D You're welcome, Carly. Glad you like them. Yes, she tries something different every year. Most of the time it works. This time was special because I like them very much, too, especially the red ones. Thanks for looking.

Beautiful captures Gene and a great way to save them in the colder climates of our country. Thanks for sharing.

:D Thank you, Linda. As I type this, my wife is out doing her thing with what's left of the plants. She's going to give it a try again and shoot for season #3. Glad you like these and thanks for looking.
