In a previous post, I showed you bull elk photos that my son took when he went to the PA Allegheny Mts. for a weekend of elk watching. This series of photos were taken near Benezette in a PA Game Commission food plot on Winslow Hill, a popular location for tourists wishing to see elk.

The sun was low in the sky when he arrived at the site. Cows and calves were feeding. Some of the calves were already laying down, resting. The bull came up from the valley, looking for his harem. He probably had been in a wallow sometime earlier. His coat wasn't completely dry.

As stated in the previous post, my son uses a Canon Digital Rebel XT w/EF100-400L lens. All shots were HH. I PP w/PsE8

A wonderful set. One thing I miss the most, being in Texas now, is the great fall colors there. :lol: :lol: :lol: You've shown them off very well, also.
