If possible, would like to know the general steps for substituting one background for another I took a picture of some people and they want the background to be the blood Moon. I would like to know the general steps of how to the a picture of the blood Moon into Perfect Suite so it can be the background. In particular, what modules to use.

Thats like being welcomed to someones worst nightmare!!
All these programs make claims you can eliminate background easily which is true if you have lots of solid colour in the background and no human or animal hair. If not get get a Wacom tablet a very large and very good monitor and devote the next week entirely to the task at hand!!
Seriously just get the group of people together and reshoot again with a backdrop they like. Damn site easier than Mission Impossible.

Look at LayerCake it does a great job of removing BG and substituting a different BG http://www.layercakeelements.com/layercake-store/StudioMagic

I don't know anything about Perfect Suite but even with a full blown version of Photoshop CS6 or CC and years of experience, you truly are asking for a headache unless you have perfectly smooth high contrast edges and bald people. Hair or rough fabric edges or plant leaves are a nightmare. It is not like pasting a moon or clouds in a scene sky. Re-shoot or live with it. If you do re-shoot, try a green screen if a studio shot so they can choose backgrounds. Good luck.

Back before Photoshop, I found it was delightfully easy to merge photo layers with Adobe software. It has been made more difficult w/ Photoshop. Hair? I guess the reason I didn't get whacko was because I would place my hair friends into cloud backgrounds .......easy peasy.

The software that I have found the easiest to do this with is "Smart Photo Editor" (www.smartphotoeditor.com). There is a free trial download. Give it a try and avoid pulling your hair out.
