This is the shot I almost missed out on.
I was checking my center and saw the airplane enter the shot. Gaped and grabbed the remote and fired.
Only able to get one shot off before the plane cleared the scene.
I might just send this to the local news.

There is an eclipse group for today on Flickr that I dropped this into. We'll see how well it does.
Thanks for the thumbs up.
I hope you did well with yours as well.

Right place and right time is all.
I was really excited when I checked and it was so well in the shot.
Thank you for the compliment.

I could not get a good focus I wonder if its the little bit of collimation I'm off or the inexpensive film I used?

Thanks Astroturf.
Sorry to see you didn't shoot this as well.
The next good one will be in 2017.

That ROCKS! The sun had set when the partial happened up here and it rained all day.

That's usually my luck but the last 2 decent eclipses I have been lucky.
Thanks for the complement and sorry you didn't get to shoot it.

Thank you.
Did you get to see the annular in 2012?
