This is a good example of the Government interfering in religion where it has no business being. This would go against our First Amendment were the Government is in effect establishing a State run religion by telling Christian Schools what and how to teach "British" Values - not Christian Values.

Unfortunately, the government is already interfering with religious values. There is a Christian Marriage Chapel refusing to conduct homosexual marriages and have now come under scrutiny of the government and the IRS with threats. The only option for this enterprise is to change their tax status.

So much for a "Government, of the people, by the people and for the people"! Our personal freedoms are vanishing daily thanks to our overbearing and bloated Federal Government.

How is your freedom vanishing when they are allowing gays to marriage? I don't see anything being "lost". It is just expanding theirs to be equal to yours. Would you like it if a "Christian Marriage Chapel" refused to marry you and your wife because they didn't like your ethnic background? You would just go to another chapel that would. There is no "loss" of freedom when you expand the rights of other Americans. ANd you are not REALLY comparing muslim extremists to gays, are you?

You miss the point on this one... A Christian has lost his right when he must do what the government demands him to do for the sake of others. The Government is not telling the Gay (or a Muslim in the other case) to go where they would be welcome. No. It is the Christian that has to submit his rights. The Government should not even be involved. The gay should go to where he knows that he will get the serve that he expects. To go where he knows that he will be rejected is throwing his right in the face of others.

Submit? That's an odd way of putting it. Do you feel you are submitting and losing your own identity because someone has a freedom like you do? It's almost impossible to debate any issue on homosexuals on this website. You are all old and unchangeable and will eventually die. Homosexuals have been around since the documenting of our societies. Guess what? Homosexuals got equal rights today and the world didn't end. Now if we could just do something about the corporate greed, racism, terrorism, white collar crime, government infighting and spending, ISIS, extremist groups, poverty, wars, holy wars, murder, guns, massacres, hunger, Ebola, climate change, extinction of animals, rape, torture and beheading, we could do some good. But it's the gays that are ruining this country, right? Marriage between two people that love each other is ruining our society. Take a good look around and you will see what's ruing us and it's not gay people.

Submit is a good word. It means submission, to give in or to give up. To surrender your rights to be replaced by the rights of others. I am who I am. If I come to your house you must do as I say, as I want. You must please me. Your rights mean nothing to me. My rights come first before your rights. If we are on the street my rights over shadow your rights. In your place of business you must satisfy my wants and desires. No matter where you are my rights come first because the government has said it is so. It is - the law of the land. You must surrender your rights to me.

This is what you are saying to me because I am a Christian. Just because you are gay I am no longer a citizen with right of my own.

No, we would not have it under control. I have not accepted anything. I have not accepted the fact that the government is telling me to disregard my rights for the so-called rights of others. Why would an imam want to lead assemblies in a Christian School. Would an Imam invite a Christian to lead in their assemblies? What right does the Government have to get involved?
If Gays want to get "Married" why would they want a Christian ceremony when a civil ceremony in front of a judge or a justice of the Peace would do just as well? Why must we Christian have to give up, give in, be forced to accept something that goes against our conscious? Just because a law is written does not change the heart. What right do you have to demand acceptance just because you think it is good for the country?

If Christian's gave up their views, gave up their faith in God, gave up the teachings of the bible to live a Christ like life, yeah, it would be under control - your secular control, under government control but no longer under individual control. This is what is called Socialism where every citizen gives up their individual rights to be under the control of the government. Why is this so hard for you to understand? You are giving up your personal freedom for a false security. Forcing what you consider your rights upon another person takes away from them their rights. When we respect the rights of each other then we have it under control.

You obviously do not respect anyone's rights other than your own. You have no tolerance for anyone who isn't of your same faith or feelings. You have given up NOTHING with civil unions. You have taken one or two instances of people just bullying their way into making people accept them. This does not happen with everyone. Most gays I know are respectful of others rights. That's why gays are getting to feel equal in society. No more bullying from people which insinuates gays don't matter. You are taking one part of a persons life and surmising their whole existence. Not very Christian like if you asked me. So, please tell me, what rights have you given up due to civil unions? Other than you can't bash them anymore. I don't want to know your feelings. I want to know what you have given up?

I have rights - you have rights. You want me to accept your rights over my rights. To do so, I would have to give up my rights to agree to your rights, Understand? I would be giving control of my life over to you That would make you happy but will not make me happy. You are OK with Big Government getting involved in our everyday life. I am not so happy with that. You feel (it is of your opinion) that I should accept Gay's along with their life style and you feel that it would be OK for the Government to force me to accept someone's life style that I disapprove of?
Why should that Christian School be forced to ask someone whose views are totally different than theirs to address their assembly or be forced to close down if they didn't comply?

Bullshit! You can still do whatever you want. That is a cop out. You have given up NOTHING but your closed minded thinking patterns. Can you not speak out? Can you go wherever you want? Are you "restricted" in any way? You cant take a few instances and generalize everyone. You are still a free willed human being. No one is forcing you into anything, especially submission. That is your own interpretation and there is nothing I can do about that. You live your life how you want. The only things I know that have been restricted in this country are because of terrorism and now Ebola. the gay people have nothing to do with that.
